1. Sulk is the masterpiece the Associates wanted to achieve. Every track is well crafted with the aching agony of that wonderful falsetto. The version is added with a bonus disc of rare material that many fans would blindly cherish. The remastering is topnotch /5(68).

3. Associates' Sulk is probably the masterpiece of the era, an album that on one hand was perfect pop, and on the other wildly experimental. This is the album that just edges out other contenders for greatest album of the era- Sorry for Laughing, The Correct Use of Soap, A Kiss in the Dreamhouse, Avalon, Climate of Hunter, New Gold Dream /5(70).

I prefer the original CD issue on Warners for sound quality and running order but the V2 reissue - if you can't find the Warners one - has extra tracks and is more in line with the original album released as ASCL1. Not the last /5(73).
